Your first visit

About an hour, one therapist, one room

You will know what we found and what comes next before you leave.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Arrive

Come a few minutes early. We ask you to read and sign a consent form and a privacy notice.

  2. 02

    Step 2: We talk

Your therapist asks about your days, your work, what you have tried and what you want back. Health details are for this conversation, not for our website.

  3. 03

    Step 3: We examine

How your neck, jaw, shoulders and upper back move, in plain words as we go.

  4. 04

Step 4: Hands-on care, if it fits

Work matched to what the exam found. If dry needling could fit, we explain it and ask first.

  5. 05

    Step 5: We plan together

A few movements to practice, and what decides when you come back.

What to wear and bring

  • Wear

Loose clothes you can move in. A T-shirt or tank top helps us reach your neck and shoulders, and we drape or work around clothing when we need to.

  • Bring

A list of your medicines, the names of your physician and dentist, and your questions.

  • Not decided on day one

Whether you need more visits, how often and for how long. We tell you what we expect, and revisit it as you go.

Ask before you come

A free 15-minute phone call is a good time to ask what a visit involves. It is not a visit.
