How fees work
Palm does not bill Medicare or other plans. Here is how paying works, before you book.
If you pay yourself
You pay for each visit yourself, on the day. The fee depends on how long the visit is and what is in it, and we tell you before you book. If cost is a barrier, ask about a reduced fee: we keep a few spots for that.

Receipts for reimbursement
After each visit we can give you a detailed receipt, called a superbill, to send to your own plan. Your plan may or may not reimburse you, and it decides.
An estimate in advance
Before your first visit we give you a written estimate of what your care is likely to cost, called a Good Faith Estimate. If a bill comes to $400 or more above that estimate, you have the right to dispute it, and we will show you how.
Checking your benefits
Because we do not bill plans, there are no benefits for us to check. If you want to send a receipt to your plan, call it first and ask whether it reimburses care from a therapist outside its network, and whether it wants a referral.
What the first visit includes
About an hour with a physical therapist. We talk, examine how you move, begin hands-on care if it fits, and agree a plan with you. How often you come back is decided with you, and revisited as you go.
Time with your therapist
An exam, explained as we go
A plan in plain words
Ask for your estimate
Tell us what you are looking for, and we will send a written estimate before your first visit.
